Tour de Peninsula is ON for 2011. Start and finish is at Coyote Point Park in San Mateo.

They expect some 1700 bike riders participating.

The four bike rides as follows: kid’s 1-3 mile, 20 mile, 31 mike, 63 mile (50mile short cut) rides.

We will be working the three adult rides.

Run by Pilarcitos Cyclesports, all rides start and end in Coyote Point Park in the upper parking lot next to the Captain's House where event HQ and theAmateur Radio Net Control station will be located.

We will probably need to start early, say 5-6am, but I will let you know more as I find out.

This event offers an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your skills and practice emergency communications while you provide needed services for a beneficial event.

We need approx. 30 hams to work net control, rest stops, fixed posts and possible SAGs.

Since this event is still in the planning stages, some of the posts are not yet determined but there will be four rest stops.

If you are interested in working this event, please click on my online sign up link listed above.

Thank you from
