Weekly Net

The SCARES weekly net meets on the air every Monday evening at 1930 hours Pacific time (7:30 pm).

The check-in frequencies are:

146.445 MHz simplex CTCSS=114.8 Hz
444.5+ MHz CTCSS=100 Hz

Members are asked to check in by roll call. Visitors are welcome: they are invited to check in after the roll call is completed.

Monthly Meetings

General Membership Meeting

A general membership meeting is held on the third Thursday of every month starting at 1930 hours Pacific time (7:30 pm). Visitors are welcome.
The meetings are normally held in the San Carlos City Hall, 600 Elm St., San Carlos, room 207. Meeting changes are noted in the Events page.

Talk-in frequencies are:
146.445 MHz simplex and the SCARES repeater on 444.50+ MHz, CTCSS =100 Hz.

Monthly Breakfast

Please note: the monthly SCARES breakfast has been discontinued due to lack of attendance. Any member interested in starting it up again should contact the SCARES president or a board member.

Board of Directors Meeting

The Board of Directors meets on the second Thursday of every month starting at 1930 hours Pacific time (7:30 pm) at the Redwood City PD. Any member is welcome to attend this meeting.
